CCSN is partnering with Smarthinking to offer academic support to all CCSN students. SMARTHINKING has the online tutoring, online writing services, and homework help services that help students succeed. Tutors are available up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in a variety of subjects. SMARTHINKING provides tutoring in Mathematics (Basic Skills - Calculus II), Writing, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Accounting, Economics, Spanish and Statistics.
To access this service students will log into WebCT using the last eight digits of their C number as their WebCT ID and their month of birth with the last two digits of their year of birth as their password (MMYY).
If a student does not have a course in WebCT they can use the following instructions to log into SMARTHINKING:
1. Go to the Smarthinking web site at www.smarthinking.com .
2. You will be prompted to enter a log-in id and password.
3. Use the following log-in id and password:
Log-in Id: ccsn061
Password: Nevada
4. Once you have successfully logged in you will need to create a unique user id and password within Smarthinking.
5. Please use the same log-in id and password that you use for WebCT.
6. This will ensure that you will have a unique user id and password within Smarthinking.
7. You will then use your unique user id and password for all future log-ins to Smarthinking.
