Check out the lecture notes in WebCT.  Then do practice exercises from the textbook.  This chapter is a review from Math 124 (Math 112-really). Make sure you can graph the feasible set.   There is an online graphing calculator/tutorial for graphing linear equations as well.  If you feel confident you know 1.1 -1.5, just do Supplementary Exercises on page 47, 1-42 all, instead of suggested assignment. Answers to

I suggest you take the practice quiz for the experience.

Check out the lecture notes in WebCT. Then do practice exercises from the textbook.   Don't feel overwhelmed by all the sections covered this week.  Some of the sections are short.  You can use calculator that does matrices but make sure you can show your work on the tests.  Section 1.5 is  new material.  There is an online calculator /tutorial for section 1.5, linear regression.

Check out the lecture notes in WebCT.  Then do practice exercises from the textbook.   There is a step by step online calculator/tutorial for the Gauss-Jordan method.   Much can be learned from playing around with your calculator too.  Although I love graphing calculators, You must know how to graph by hand and will be graded on showing all your work on the Tests.

This is where the fun starts.  Make sure you learn how to count.  Be quick to ask questions.  You don't want to get behind here so manage you time wisely.

Check out the lecture notes in WebCT.  Then do practice exercises from the textbook.  Know the difference between a combination and a permutation.  Practice is the key to these sections.  Don't give up.  These are fun!  The problems are not listed in order of difficulty.  You won't be able to get all the problems correct.   You can email me or post questions on the bulletin board.
